Fishing and Snorkeling in Sian Ka'an
one week package

 
Unique experiences in virgin nature ... a place like there are only few left in the world. You'll never forget the adventure of discovering the most spectacular places in the Mexican Caribbean together with your family, spending a week in total harmony with the flora and fauna of the Sian Ka'an biosphere.

 
Day 1.- Arrival

Transfer from the airport to our Lodge in the Biosphere. We will leave Cancun around 2:00 PM, please schedule your flight around that time. For those who will get to the Lodge by themselves, please consult our map "how to get to the lodge"

All of our rooms are equipped with A/C, private bathroom and hot water. They are located at our beautiful beach of white sand and crystal clear water, right in front of a beautiful coral reef, that you can reach swimming from the shore.

Day 2.- Wild Dolphin Encounter 

We'll leave by boat early in the morning to go out searching for wild bottle nose dolphins. A group of them lives permanently in Ascension Bay. We are also looking to find other interesting habitants of the ocean and mangroves, such as turtles, starfish, stingrays, pelicans, eagles, cormorans, spoonbills and many more species of exotic birds...

We will continue the tour with a visit of the local coral reefs in the biosphere, where you can take a plunge into the amazing underwaterworld of "Nemo". Your kids will love the experience! For kids younger than 5 we recommend to bring goggles and floating devices.

Day 3.- Fishing with the Kids

Spend a wonderful day fishing with your little ones - from 2 years and older. Your guide will take your family to a shallow area where they can go looking for small pargos and bonefish, to secure safety and have a lot of fun! You will love sharing that new experience with them and might find a common activity for the rest of your life!


Day 4.- Snorkel at Chenchomac Reef

Enjoy the beach, the breeze, the beautiful water, while watching your kids play ... relax in your hamac. Discover the coral reef in front of the lodge.

Day 5.- Snorkel the Reefs

Today we'll take another tour by boat to the reefs. Our goal is to identify the different species of coral and tropical fish with underwater slates. Bring your waterproof cameras to take the most amazing pictures for your photo album!

 Day 6.-  Take your kids fishing!

Spend a wonderful day with your kids, 2 years or older, trolling and casting with light tackle or lines, looking for barracudas, bonefish, small permit, snappers etc.

Day 7.-  Visit "Iguana Island" snorkel the famous shipwreck 

We'll visit the lobster fishermen in Punta Allen and go looking to catch the ones for dinner with the same native tecnique ... We will stop by "Iguana Island" for lunch and end up exploring just beneath the surface the famous shipwreck at the reef "Barco Hundido".

Day 8.- Departure

Transfer to Cancún airport, leaving between 06:00 AM and 08:30 AM, so we will arrive there between 09:00 AM and 11:30 AM. For those, who arrived by themselves to the lodge: CHECK-OUT is at 10:00 AM.
